2020 Board Election
Three of the District’s Board seats are up for election/re-election this year. Ballots will be mailed out to all District customers around the first of April. All ballots are due in the District’s office at 526 Stone Street, Cody, Wyoming, by 5:00 PM, Tuesday May 5, 2020.
All three current Board members will be seeking re-election; they are Colleen Tippetts (Lovell), Joshua Shorb (Powell), Jim Mentock (Cody). Robert Feller (Powell) is also seeking a seat on the Board. Anyone else interested in running for one of the Board seats can register as a candidate at the District’s office between February 6, 2020 and February 26, 2020. All three seats are for a term of four years.
Colleen Tippetts currently serves as the Board’s Vice President. She resides in the rural Lovell area and works for Halliburton Industries. Colleen has served on the Board for 16 years.
Joshua Shorb currently serves as the Board President. He resides in the rural Powell area and serves as manager for Park County Weed & Pest. Josh is completing his first four year term on the Board.
Jim Mentock currently serves as Board Secretary. He resides in the rural Cody area and has a local contracting business. Jim has been serving the District since its inception in 1990 and worked organizing the District prior to that. Jim also serves as the District’s representative on the Shoshone Municipal Pipeline Joint Powers Board.
Robert Feller- currently seeking a position on the Board. He resides in rural Powell where he serves as manager of Bloedorn Lumber. He has worked for Bloedorn Lumber for the last 29 years. He enjoys spending time with his family and is very active in the community.
